Novel Related

Thin Ice

Illustrations for my novel which is part of a trilogy. I have currently planned and written all three books out in Note form, and am Starting the final copy now, (I'm on book 1... for obvious reasons) The Books lack names, Except for the first one: "Bound by Runes" which is set in the world of Gods, demons and A whole lotta Viking fun. I expect to finish the entire project in two or three years, and along the way I'm going to do some... illustrations I suppose is what you'd call them.

Anyway I'll just give you a basic run down of the story, just so the Pictures make a little more sense.

After Accidently stumbling on the world of Scandinavian Gods, Anna finds herself stuck with the cunning Fire god Loki. The two cannot be seperated, literally, both are joined by blood... When Loki is banished from Asgard for an Age-old murder, three other members of the panthenon decide to help, (not that they like Loki or anything, they're in it mainly for Anna...) Soon they are all thrown into a war with Demons, monsters, and other gods, which may just lead to the end of the world...

Q: Will you draw something for me?
A: Sorry, no, you're welcome to make a suggestion if you must, but I don't do requests straight off.

Q: Can we do a trade?
A:I am no longer taking trades. SORRY!!!

Q: Can I commission you?
A: No, sorry. I'm too young to take out a paypal account, plus I'm just not interested in doing art for money

Q:Can you make me an Icon?
A: Of course I can, I do take Icon requests, but I also have templates in my gallery so you can can them yourself! Try the templates first, but if you don't like how it turned out, you can ask me to make it for you!

Q: Whats with the hyenas?
A: What isn't with the hyenas? No, I like hyenas, I feel that when I die I will come back as a hyena, or a butterfly (no one ever suspects the butterfly...) Plus, I don't go around saying: "Whats with all the wolves?" To you! :D

Q: How long does it take you to draw something?
A: Slow down! I draw alot of things, in a lot of sizes and styles. But my main work, coloured pencil on A3 paper, usually takes from 3-5 hours with breaks in between. My black and white pieces also on A3 take roughly the same amount of time.

Q: WHY do you make so many goddamn journals and polls?
A: BECAUSE I have nothing better to do, plus I love to talk to people and see what others think!

Q: Looking at your jounrals, do you take drugs?
A: Lol... if I said yes would you report me to the police?! No I'm just like that :D

Q: How many fingers am I holding up?
A: eleven. :D

Q: Do you live here?
A: Yes, I mean, its not like I OWN a house or anything...

The Child, the God, and the One computer

You can see this is going to be a problem now, can't you? Its 7:43 in the morning here, the blinds are closed and there is no light in the study apart from the computer. As for sounds, I try not to think about them. Same goes for smells. I am currently, in a seated position in front of the blocky I'm-a-slow-doushe-computer trying to type this, IN A DRESING GOWN. which is very comfortable, but annoying. Anyway, while this is happening, I am constantly aware that I am NOT ALONE. *looks over shoulder* BLOODY HELL, STOP THAT. STOP IT.

HOMG. MUM?!

Anyway, I found out something else, WHICH IS PRETTY DAMN COOL. My dad got this lump on his hand (no that's not the cool part) and he went to the doctor to have it checked out, turned out it was a build up of scar tissue or something (this isn't the cool part) and it had some crazy name, but it was a disease from Northern Europe, and is assosiated with VIKINGS. And is in fact called: "the Viking disease"!! HAHA, just more proof that I'm a little bit norse.... not just on my Dad's mother's Father's side. :D YEAH. lol.

Also, TO ALL OF THOSE WHO DO NOT LIKE MY JOURNALS BECAUSE THEY SPAM?! DEAL WITH IT. Writing journals is heaps fun on my end of the stick, and its the only way I talk to people ._.

I REALLY NEED TO DO ARTS, AND WRITING... AND WORK... AND SOCIAL LIFE. YEAH. YEAH. ART ISN'T ON MY PRIORITY LIST BECAUSE MUM WANTS ME TO HELP HER DO CRAZY SHIT AROUND THE BACK YARD (ie. "Lets move one pile of rocks over to another pile of rocks and if it doesn't look good, we'll move it back to the original pile of rocks") SO YEAH. MUM IS FUCKING ANNOYING.

Why hello there my loverlies, the name is Barron Von Hughston, and I run this here ship of craziness. Asylum HO!
I live in two places, yes, my mum mot of the time, out in the dregs of Sydney, and my dad on weekends in the hustle and bustle of The City (PYRRRRRRRRMOOOONNT.)
I have two siblings, a Brother and a Sister, both in their twenties. Amy studies art at COFA and Tom is in a band writing songs and music, he plays the guitar!
I draw Anthropomorphic Aniamls, and Regular run of the mill animals too. Though I do prefer Anthro, as it does make a statement, us humans are not so different from the animals! I also draw fantasy, though not as much.
I'm a writer as well as a drawer, though my writing is pretty... lame. I'm a picky eater, and almost an exclusve carnivore, by which I mean, I almost NEVER eat anything that is a fruit or a veg. So anything with a face and that has spent two hours in a groiler I want. I work with Coloured pencils, and acrlyic paint mostly, and sometimes work with Greyscale pictures ,though they're not as good at the coloured ones.

My favourite Animals are Spotted Hyenas, Sun bears, Wolverines, and wombats. I always draw Hyenas, because they need moar love in the world. My favourite colour is Blue (but whose isn't?) and fave time period is the good old vikings. Go norse! :D

I also have an "imaginary" friend, who technically isn't imaginary OR my friend. He just hangs around writes some of my journals and is an all round meanie pants. You'll hear alot about him, so I'd be prepared, mainly because he somtimes steals the computer and comments without me knowing.

I still go to highschool (year NINE at the moment, one of the oldest in the year), and WILL go until year twelve, and hopefully travelling around Europe with my bestest buddies.
