A male Sloth bear stands in a clearing of the forest, with his only friend.
Sloth bears are amazing little animals! (actually, they're not little, about two metres or six feet tall) They're famous for the long, shaggy fur around their ears, the back of the neck and shoulders. Sloth bears are found in south asia (india) and can be found in any habbitat as long as it has its three main sources of food--ants, termites and fruits. (They also eat eggs and honey) Sloth bears are dosile, shy creatures, that have never killed a person, there have been clawings, but those are mainly out of surprise. Yes... yes...I know there aren't any dicidious (hows it spelt again?) trees in india, I just thought the colours suited the bear.  I'm really happy with how it turned out, and I'm pleased with the affect on the border too. First shot at drawing a raven, and... I think I did alright...? Anyway, don't go yelling at me about the deer antlers, they're Sambar deer antlers, native to India. So  !OMG! He gonna eat his only friend! Coloured pencils and water colour pencils, 2008. |

Oh all the emo children they're always so sad, when I was young I couldn't be sad or they'd beat me down with a stick. Then make me work in the fields and collect more sticks to beat me with.
