***EDIT, I MADE IT BRIGHTER! CLOSER TO THE ORIGINAL, DOESN'T LOOK AS BAD...

I pretty much hate this. >:/ It started off as a sketch, the sketch was ok, I coloured in the manticore... alright so it wasn't my best... then I coloured everything else in, and now I want to burn it. >:/ to top it all off, the scanner ate this, its a really bright picture, and since this is A3 and I hate to scan it on an A4 scanner, there's a line, that is off on the front leg!!! WHY? BECAUSE THE SCANNER WANTS TO FUCK WITH ME.

I didn't use any refrences. because I'm a dip shit.

Coloured pencil and acrylic.... I hate it all, 2008 (yes it was still 2008 when I drew it, on new years eve! lol.)

All scanners are evil, don't take it personally. Mine seriously hates me.

Haha, I know the feeling. "Ooo, I did a pretty nice sketch... oh knickers, now I've ruined it. *sadface*" It's really annoying when your brain and your art-fingers don't connect the way you want them to, as my friend puts it.

He's still pretty lovely, though. I like him. :)

Don't hate it! It looks very good, don't be so hard on yourself. Afterall you MUST like this in some level as you managed to post this to DA. ;) I think it looks fab, I've always liked your soft colours ( however a bit more contrast wouldn't hurt in this one ) and subjects. You draw all kinds of animals, unlike some anthro-artists ( like myself ) who just sit on their butts and draw wolves.

lol, I liked the manticore, and yeah that's the goddamn scanner taking away the contrast, the original is alot brighter, and looks better. Oh well, I tried to edit it on my crap picture editing programme, but it looked even worse! Lol, yes I find that with anthro artists. lol
